Winter Ft. Different ways to wear a silk scarf!

How to wear a rectangular silk scarf?

Recently I went to Mysore for our wedding anniversary celebration and I bought a tiny rectangular silk scarf from there. I have always loved scarves and the charismatic affect it has on an outfit. The fact that one scarf can be draped in so many different ways has always been an attraction for me. So when I got this scarf just when the Winters had started looking up here in Pune I quickly thought of different ways I would style this scarf to office and otherwise this Winter season. There are many scarf draping styles but I prefer styles that can be done easily and in less time.

12 different ways to wear a silk scarf?

Its imperative to reinvent different ways to wear the same outfit or accessory if we are heading towards sustainable fashion and scarves are a great way to do that. Here are my 10 different ways to style a scarf;

Simple Knot Style

Simple and easy. Just tie a simple knot in front and keep the ends hanging loose. This easy peasy style keeps you warm yet is super comfortable to do. This style is great when you are wearing long jackets and shrugs or over flowy skirts.

Triangular Scarf style

A simple and easy way to drape your scarf this winter is in this triangular style where you gather a little triangle in front like a collar and either tie the ends at back and let it stay or bring them in front on each sides add tassels so that your scarf style will look much prettier like this.

Another awesome scarf style for winters would be the cowl style. Here you wrap the scarf around your neck twice and let it fall loosely like a cowl neck. This style is great to wear under the trench coats and with short dresses and boots.
