Bohemian Gypsy look – Styling feather Earrings
I have always loved the Bohemian style. Its free spirited and peppy and basically insane! just like me. In fact I own a boho fringe jacket, a fringe bag, cute pompom tie-ups and some gypsy accessories. But when it comes to pulling to-gather an out and out bohemian or gypsy look I am always worried of over doing it. Doing a statement bohemian accessory is always an easier way out for me rather than going the gypsy way. However this time I decided to try going the gypsy way and put together a Gypsy look with dream-catchers et all! Here is the look and few tips on how to do the gypsy look without going overboard!
Feather earrings & Dreamcatchers
Here is what I used. My bell sleeves denim dress as top to give the 70’s vibe. A fancy floral mini skirt, gypsy feather earrings and dream-catcher necklace. The dress became off the shoulder top giving a gypsy vibe.

Gypsy or bohemian clothing originated as a nomadic lifestyle post french revolution in 1700’s. It was basically a carefree way of dressing sprung out of poverty in those days. If they knew that years later this would be one of the hottest fashion trends around the world! But by end of 1800’s bohemian or gypsy look was already symbolized as one’s creative expression.
Gypsy look – how to style feather earrings
The best thing about this Gypsy look or the Bohemian fashion trend, as it is referred to as these days, is that there are no particular rules to play by. There is no “this should go with that” standards, its all about using your creativity to come up with new experimental looks that are comfortable and does not look branded! Yes the very essence of this style was the affordable part of it. Which means its perfect for people like me who believe in mix and match and using minimal resources to create new looks everyday.
Gypsy fashion trend – feathers and dream-catchers
Essentially that is why I have used my denim dress as an off the shoulder top here. Paired it with a pastel floral skirt and completed the look with bright red bohemian feather accessories and multi-colour wedges. The only possible care I had to take while styling this look was to not overdoing the accessories. I hope you like my Gypsybo Denim Look!
