17th October to 25th October – 9 colours of Navratri days in 2020
This year Navratri of 2020 shall fall on October 17th. The next nine days will be full of fun and frolic as women in India all over will celebrate Navratri with fasting, wearing the Navratri Colour of the day Sarees and dance to the tune of folk songs on Garba! Garba nights are very popular in Gujarat and Maharashtra with Mumbai having the special Disco dandiya and Bollywood Garba nights held at various Garba Grounds.
During Navratri, Women celebrate the nights of Nav Durga with 9 different colours of Navratri. Each year a set of colours is decided that everyone follows through out the Nine days of Navratri. Listed above are the “Navratri colours for year 2020” for everyone. Each year the newspapers carry the “Navratri colour of the day” for the Devotees to follow. Women get up early in the morning for puja and adorn beautiful sarees in the shade of “Navratri Colours” everyday and follow a synchrony in their outfits throughout the day.
