But I say if you style it well a simple cotton summer dress can be your savior at work especially during this mucky weather. Here I am wearing my cotton White Summer dress that I bought almost a decade ago from a thrift store in Mumbai at a dirt cheap price. This dress costed me a 120/- inr then. Its simple cotton dress with black floral print on it. The material has miraculously stayed intact over the years and the print has also not faded at all. The top has a plunge neckline and an inch narrow shoulders straps. I mostly prefer wearing it with a shrug or a Jacket.
The first look I have paired it with one of my corduroy jackets (again a really old buy), a sleek tan belt and Tan sandals. I have completed my look

Strategic layering is the perfect way to take your Summer favorites in to Winter. Pair your long shrug with your Summer dress and complete the look with some warm leggings or lycra pants and Boots. Layering with many lighter fabrics than one single thick coat is a better option for Indian Winters. A because its not that cold here anyway and B because the temperature changes drastically during the day and its easy to get rid of a layer or two as the weather gets hotter.
