Vibrant orange eyeliner for monsoon – Colorbucket flash orange gel liner review
Its that time of the year when the grey clouds reign the sky and the days get dull and gloomy. No matter how much I love rains, the only thing about the monsoon that daunts me is the gloominess. Which is why I always opt for vibrant popping eye makeup or even vibrant eye-liners to sail through the dull days. Most important is that these eye-liners have to be waterproof and last the lashing of the humid weather and rains. I have been using the colorbucket flash pop-up geller in flash orange all of summer and I wanted to see how they fare in this weather. Read on to find my review for the same.

Pacakging
The colorbucket geller comes in a fancy packaging with a roll up pencil inside and a secure lid. The bottom of the liner has a colour code on it so that you know which shade you are using.
Application
The application is pretty okay. Its not as smooth as other gel liners I have tried but at the same time I do not need to rub it twice to get the required pigmentation. One stroke application is enough.

Pigmentation
Its a highly pigmented eye-liner just like a crayon pencil but more pigmented. In fact when did the first swatch of it on my hand. It stayed on for almost 20 hours without getting dull.
Staying power
As I mentioned earlier, this liner stays on well. On the eyes they stayed for more than 12 hours. The best part is it doesn’t smudge or bleed. It is not totally waterproof but has stayed the test of rains for me. I have got wet for half an hour wearing this eyeliner and it hasn’t smudged or lightened even after that. I had towel patted my eyes later and the liner was still intact.

Colorbucket flash pop-up Orange Geller for Monsoon
I would say yes! This product with its vibrant colour, long staying power and smudge free pigmentation is perfect to uplift my gloomy day during rains. It is my go to liner for Monsoon season. I have bought this on Luxola brand online. However I recently came to know that Luxola is now Sephora. 🙂 This is a Korean brand and can be bought on any of the korean beauty products site. One of them is Korea Depart, you can search it online for the link.

So that’s my review for Colorbucket flash pop-up Geller eye-liner. I have just one colour from the lot and I plan to add few more colours to my stash very soon so that I can come up with quick an easy monsoon friendly makeup looks. Hope you liked my review.
Happy Monsoon!
