My maternity Photography session & some creative posing ideas
I know it has been quite a time since I have done a good post and today I would be sharing some very fond memories of my pregnancy, my maternity photo shoot and along with it some insanely adorable shoot ideas to explore from. One thing I got to know from my pregnancy was that the time flies when you are pregnant and you have a huge check list of things to be done while you are preggers and a cute maternity photo shoot tops that list. I cant imagine how time has gone by since I was pregnant and now there is a cute little toddler cruising around my house already. It seems like just days ago, I was moving around with a huge belly in my house and now I dont have the slightest hint of it on my body & even mind apart from the fine lines on my tummy! 😛 The only memory of my wonderful pregnant belly days (Yes for some reason I just loved the plump & cheeky me v/s skinny & drained out me these days!) are those fine lines on my belly and some amazing baby bump pictures from my maternity shoot. For all those who are planning to get their photo shoot done, these are some insanely cute and unique ideas that you would totally love!
1. Spill the beans
Announce your baby’s birth month, your due date or even the baby’s name initial if you have already decided upon the names. In countries where sex determination is not banned maternity shoot also has some “its a Boy or Its a Girl” announcing shots where you can literally tell it all with a picture! Since we were in suspense at to what our baby would be like or when exactly she would arrive, we stick to the birth month which we expected wouldn’t change, Thank God it didn’t! 😛

2. On the Bench
Express your love on this ever classic shot just out of a 90’s romantic novel, A couple sitting on the bench welcoming their love. I am particularly a fan of this shot as everything about is just so romantically adorable.

3. Show off your sonogram
This one is totally taking vogue these days with all the parents. Showing off those cute little fingers and toes from the 3d sonography pictures is not totally cute but also makes up for an everlasting memory. You can always go back in time to see how your little one looked when inside you and wonder with awe! Just like I do these days 🙂

4. Pretty Silhouettes
Get some crazy pregnancy silhouettes to show off that gorgeous baby bump of yours. A woman’s body is at her most beautiful when she has a baby inside it and nothing better than to capture the beautiful you for a lifetime! After all you are not going to stay pregnant always 😉

5. The magazine shot
A beautiful shadow silhouette with your sassy baby bump can also make an amazing magazine photo shoot shot. This one is by far my breathtakingly beautiful shot in every which way possible. I just can’t believe the person is me, I still feel as if the picture is just outright from some sexy prenatal magazine! Can’t thank my friends Priyanka and Piyush at Photokrafters, enough for making me look so beautiful in here and yet making the shot so aesthetic. I was so worried about the outcome, I could never think of sharing it until I saw the finished shot. 6.The Black-board Doodle
Having a Black-board to scribble some lovely doodles for your coming bundle of joy can make up for a very simple yet creative shot. All it takes is a little black-board and a slate and you can come up with number of ideas and hundreds of different shots with it. You can also try wall scribbling shot we just made a pose for the same but then did not end up scribbling anything over it!:P Ofcourse, that’s what Photoshop is for! 😀

7. The Clothesline shot
Give a nudge to the cute little laundry that you are going to do with this lovely clothesline all set with baby rompers and diapers and what not. Make sure the light is proper and both of you are wearing contrasting colours to bring out a really good picture.

8. Hands Play
Create your new world with your hands like literally! Shots where both the partners join hands making a love sign has by far the most shot pose in maternity photography and looking at the beauty of this picture I already know why!

9. Include tiny shoes
Amp up the cuteness quotient by throwing in some tiny baby shoes in the shoot. You can hold them in your hands, place them on baby bump or just make a shoes time-line. We preferred it on the bump! 🙂

10. Make funny faces
Becoming parents is just like becoming kids once again. Nothing better than to celebrate the child in you by making funny faces and trust me this makes a good net practice for the upcoming days! 😛

11. Food Cravings? Oh yes!
Include your food cravings in the poses, who doesn’t love a whole box of chocolates or a nutella bottle in a picture. Moreover they make up for a lovely instagram upload! Win Win 😀

Who said pregnancy is boring dresses?? Get your fashion gear out and Flaunt your fashionista side with some stylish shot! Flaunt your sexy shoes, that sundress or your favorite hat & set the pregnancy style meter high!

A romantic pose is a must for a memorable photo shoot! After all you are celebrating your love and what better way then to express it?
