Valentine’s Day Outfit – Two ways to wear an off-shoulder Top!
Valentine’s Day 2019 is already here! The social media is already buzzing about tips on What to wear on Valentine’s Day. From a Movie date to a shopping with friends, everything now counts as Valentine Day’s Outfit. But, the most important part of the Valentine’s Day is when your love asks you out on a special V’Day Date! This is when most Women get confused on what to wear. Should it be cute or Sexy? Bold or Conservative? No doubt there are so many Valentine’s Day Date Night Outfit inspirations doing rounds out there, because that’s the trickiest right?
Well this is why I am kick-starting my Valentine’s Day 2019 Series with the most coveted topic “What to wear on a Valentine’s Day Date Night?”
Should your Valentine’s Day Date Night outfit be Cute or Sexy? Well, that totally depends on you and the person you are going out with. If its your first Date night with the guy or you if you aren’t feeling comfortable, you can always opt out of wearing a sexy dress! Go for something that is safe and yet makes up for a great Date night outfit. Wear a Red Top with a knee length Skirt or a frilly blouse and Palazzo pants. The trick is to replace sexy with elegant and you will not feel out of place even on a Date night. I believe Red is the colour of love! And what better than red to wear on Valentine’s Day? Also Red and Black makes me feel Sexy and sultry, which is why Red and Black outfit is my best bet for a Sexy Valentine’s Day Date-night outfit.
This Red off-shoulder top is something I bought years back but it has been always my first picks for Night outs or Dinner date with Hubby. I paired it with a Black lace skirt that I bought 7 years ago from a trip to Thailand (Yes, 2013 to be precise) This skirt is one of my priced possession, because it can be styled in numerous way from sexy to work look and it looks great with everything. Being a lace skirt it goes well with party wear look and being black it can be worked as a Formal wear too! This is what I say when I talk about conscious shopping and Versatile Styling.
I have matched the skirt with Black velvet pumps, again an asset. I completed my look with a black chokar tattoo style neckpiece, winged liner, dark red lipstick and open hair. Now considering I am all about Restyling, here are two ways to wear this outfit. In the next look I have styled my hair differently.
Here I have worn the same outfit but in a more elegant way then sultry one. Here I have replaced my Black pumps with a cute black sneakers. This can make up for a cute valentine’s day date night outfit.
I have worn a statement crystal florets studs as accessories and skipped the neck-piece. Styling my hair in a retro updo, I have completed my Valentine’s Date night look with an elegant poise.
So here are my two different ways of styling a red off-shoulder for Valentine’s Day date night. You can also try different makeup tricks to change your look. But you need to make sure to go on not going overboard. Remember if you are wearing a sexy dress, you would want to keep the makeup subtle so that the dress takes the attention, not other wise. I would say, a bold lipstick, concealer, winged liner and a little blush is good for a great Valentine’s Day Date night makeup.
