Pick up the Major Trend of 2014 – 2 Ways of styling your Crop Tops & Palazzo Pants – Style Tips
One of my most favorite trend of this year are Palazzos! The comfy, cool, easy breezy Palazzo pants have been my go-to outfit these days! If you have paid even a flying look at the various fashion weeks that whizzed by in the last few months, one can easily say that Palazzo have been a major fad and they are here to stay. They might take form of a divider skirt, dividing lehenga for the more ethnic versions of Palazzos but this flowy comfy pants are here for long!! The high-waisted Palazzo can not do without their partner in crime Crop-Tops which have been a major trend since last year and are going strong this year too…. This post is coming too late since I have been wanting to write one post on Crop-top and Palazzo since the longest of time! My sistaa would have almost killed me had I not posted about the outfit post that she took so much pain to capture with her amazing Photography skills! 😉 But as they say, better late than never. So I styled my floral palazzo pants with two different looks (and I am loving them both!) The first one is Geeky and other a Glam one! I have tried one another major trend of the season which is print on prints (esp floral prints)! So lets take a look on each of my outfit one by one!
Okey I am loving flower power Palazzo for the huge rose print on them! The fact that it is in Black allows me to mix and match it with various tops. For My geeky look I paired my floral palazzo with a similar floral printed crop top. This crop is from my fashion haul at Colaba Causeway! 😉 The material of the top is loose and easy breezy, I love the fact that both the palazzo and top are super comfy and I actually slept while travelling in them.
Palazzo pants are super versatile that way. I so love my comfy pallazo that I wear them almost everywhere!! From travelling in trains, to attending business meetings, outing with friends to attending events, they have been everywhere. In-fact I recently went for an Interview (not fashion related) wearing one black palazzo paired up with basic white shirt! 😉
So to bring out the geek in me, I wore those round (circle) plain glass glasses and tied my hair up in a loose puffy up-do. Silver dangler earrings & stack of white & silver bracelets.
I completed my look with these white multi-colour strap sling back Wedges and a dash of lip- gloss!
P.S Style tip: While going Geek, keep you make-up to minimal and accessories Statement! 😉
Considering that the theme of the outfit was floral, I added a flower scrunchie to my loose updo, which kept my flyaway’s in place. I avoid using hair sprays as I they damage my already frizzy hair.
Later-on I tried these ear-cuff with chain and spikes to give a little edgy and punk look! Do let me know which one looked better! 😉
