Indo-western Navratri outfits in 2020 – Denim Jacket with Ghagra
Navratri festival is all about traditional ethnic outfits and folk dance. However this year the latest Navratri fashion trends is all about fusion Indo-western outfits that have a contemporary twist to the ethnic look. Recently I posted about two different Navratri fusion outfits, one using a wedding gown as chaniya-choli and another one was using Denim jacket with dhoti dupatta. Today I am back with another Navratri fusion outfit using Denim and this is with a floral skirt! There are so many ways one can wear Denim for Navratri!
Navratri Fashion trends – Fusion look
Denims are one of the basics that can be paired with almost anything. Denim jackets can give a boho spin off to your otherwise traditional outfit. Here I have used my floral chaniya or ghagra as a dress. If you are wondering how to wear a skirt as dress? Tie your skirt high from below the arms to create an off-shoulder look and you are ready with an off-shoulder floral dress. This floral Navratri lehenga is my most favourite! It has a big ghera and can easily be worn as a bridal lehenga or a skirt!
Off-shoulder dress
Cinch the dress on the waist with a belt to give it a slimming silhouette. I have used my floral skirt as an off-shoulder dress for Navratri. I have used an ethnic moti belt made of tiny beads and sequin hangings. A denim jacket completes my Navratri Fusion look of the day.
Foral lehenga as dress
One of the major Navratri fashion trends is the jewelry. The oxidized, the mirror work and other folk jewellery give Navratri a special look. I love all my silver indo-western jewelry and ethnic jewelry that go so well with all my Navratri outfits. I have used another such mirror work ethnic belt as a neck-piece and completed my Navratri fusion look with a subtle makeup. Since this is quirky Indo-western look. I have done my hair up in a cute front ponytail.
