Madhuri Dixit at Delhi Couture Week 2012 for Anju Modi in Red Saree
Bollywood Dhak Dhak Girl Gorgeous Madhuri Dixit Nene sizzled on the ramp at PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2012.
Anju Modi’s Bengal inspired Collection at Delhi Couture Week 2012 saw own very own Marathi Mulgi in a total Bengal Bomb-shell avtar. She dazzled on the ramp looking like a Devi (Goddess).
Mad’s wore a Cream Bordered Lehenga with exquisite intricate Gold and Red Details, a Black Blouse and a Red Muslin Duppata. Cream and Red being the ethnic Colours of Bengoli Culture, showcased the traditional look very well.
Madhuri shashayad down the ramp with her traditional Smile after reciting a Rabindranath Tagore Poem.
“Madhuri is the epitome of elegance, an intelligent, passionate human being. She is the devi of my collection,” exclaimed Anju for her Elegant Show-stopper. Madhuri’s graceful appearances continue to be a source of Bollywood style inspiration for fashion enthusiasts.
“My collection is inspired by Bengali literature and the films inspired by it, such as ‘Charulata’, ‘Devi’, ‘Parineeta’ and ‘Devdas’. Red is a very prominent colour in Bengal. I have focussed on the power of woman – lovable and energetic. I have taken the influence from Bengal an twisted it to make a fashion statement,” said Modi while explaining about her Collection.
