Lakmé Fashion week’s Gen Next Batch for Winter/Festive 2012

Sticking to its image of promoting new talent, the Lakmé Fashion Week Panel announces Generation Next Batch for its Winter/Festive 2012.

LFW Advisory Board members in its 7th year shortlisted the new batch of Gen Next, Emerging and Accessory Designers for Winter/Festive 2012 promoting fourteenth batch of promising young designers. Out of the 250 designer applications across all categories, 7 Gen Next, 15 Emerging and 3 Accessory designers have been shortlisted to showcase their collection at Winter/Festive 2012 taking place in August.

Experts from the Fashion Industry took the responsibility of selecting the furture talent for this season. The Panel included esteemed names such as Anamika Khanna- Designer, Dr. Alka Nishar- AZA, Dr. Darlie O’ Koshy- AEPC, Krishna Mehta-Designer, Pradeep Hirani- Kimaya, Priya Tanna, Vogue, Sujata Assomull- Launch Editor Harpers Bazaar along with Anjana Sharma, Director – Fashion, IMG Reliance and Purnima Lamba- Head Lakmé, Innovation, who are all part of the LFW Advisory Board.
