Coloured Jeans have become a Fab these days. Pastel and Neon coloured jeans have especially have been quite the rage this summer. To be honest carrying off a Neon Jeans really asks for a daring heart, especially if you are not some celeb or Fashionista used to wearing Bold Colours!! The Blue Denims are what we are used to and comfortable in, how far can we carry this trend of coloured denims is one hell of a question. But these Fashion Bloggers (inspiration!!) have gotten me thinking while they come out on street with this fab new Trend. What I make out of these pictures is that there are certain unsaid rules to carry-off the Neon (I am talking about a complete Neon Outfit and not here and there accessories or heels). Colour Blocking is one of them. Lets get on with it one by one.
1. The safest colour so far(personally) is Neon Pink, more because its my favorite colour and its makes us look prettier. Those who are more edgy in thier fashion and like taking risks can go with the Hotter shade of pink, whereas the starters can go with more subtle yet Neon pink in a lighter shade(as shown in the 2nd pic). Mind it! both these are Neon Pink and not pastel pink.
2. If you have a heavy Bottom you can layer your outfit with long coat (preferably basic colour-black/white) so that the attention is drawn to more attractive parts of body.
3. Make sure to go with either a contrast colour from the outfit or with a neutral basic colour while choosing accesories.
4. Prints and florals donot go much hand-in-hand with Neon, so choose very basic plain colours when you are starting off with this trend.
5. Be cautious while going all Neon, Never match up your neon top with your neon shoes with your neon bottoms. No seriously, you will look like Lady Gaga Gone Wrong!! Always keep something neutral while going out-and-out neon it can be your makeup, your shoes, nailpaint.,,,
6. Avoid Accessorizing when you are new to this trend, go slow with the Neon Hues.
Neon Orange or Neon Mustard as you may say it is one hell of a colour to try on. However there are very strict colour-combo that go with it. The daring ones can go out with the all neon look – zapping up your neon pink/neon red-with neon orange. Those who want to go slow on this trend can opt for a pair of white. White goes great with Orange and it doesn’t give that too-much-orangy feel to you.
Neon Green is again a Hot Colour this season. You can opt for a complete fluorescent Green colour or go with shades having bluish tinge like sea-green or aqua-green. Black is the best option for fluorescent Green. Yet again Basic colours can be opted for other shades of Neon Green. However, green is one colour you have to be careful with, you can completely rock one shade and can go completely wrong with the other..stick to neutrals while experimenting with this Neon is what i can say!!
Neon Blue is the Cutest and safest Colour amongst all, Mostly because its just “Glowing Denim”. Blue Denims have been worn ages and ages together and just a hint of glow cant make it too difficult to flaunt. I however love the more lighter shade of Neon Blue [sic] first pic. The Neon Blue is one colour you cant go wrong with. You can wear them with neutral, with stripes of basic colours, Colour block it with Neon Green, Neon Red and Neon Yellow. I feel this is one must-have colour this season. However, going light on make-up and shoes stands true here too, for starters. Once you are used-to wearing Neon’s You can always experiment a new look.
