Well not necessarily dull though, Scarves are a great fashion accessories for Winter and there is so much you can do with one single scarf. If you are thinking how to tie a scarf such that it protects yet looks cute on you. You have reached the right place. Today I will tell you how to tie a scarf in 20 different ways.
A beautiful scarf is a Winter fashion essentials. Whether you are heading for work or a night party. A nicely done scarf style would make your outfit stand out. But how you wear your scarf is of utmost importance. You need to be creative as well as make sure you are utilizing the scarf for its original purpose!
Simple Scarf Style

Scarf is a shorter version of the rectangular shawl, however both Scarf and shawl can be draped in various ways to give you different scarf styles. Here are some of the ways that I have tried to wear a scarf. These are my own version of trendy scarf styles.
The first scarf style is the basic style that most Indian women use their shawl or dupatta in. This is the simple one side front and other side back scarf style. This can also be your shawl wearing style.
Twisted Scarf style

Another way to wear a scarf this winter is to tie a knot and keep both ends in front to give a slightly trendy scarf style. This scarf style looks great on both long shawl as well as rectangular scarves.
The third way of “how to tie a scarf” series is the the same version but with both the ends hanging separately front and back.
Bandana Scarf Style
Another great way to tie a Scarf is to wear it like a Bandana, like our 90’s heroines used to wear duppata. This is a great Retro scarf style. Its the best scarf style if you have a bad hair day or if you just want to cover your ears from the Winter Chill.
Collar Scarf Style
A great way to tie your scarf for work is to drape in round two times and take tie knot to create this scarf style. This can be worn with jackets and blazers it works as great substitute for Tie on formals. So now you got a formal scarf style.
Turban Scarf Style
A great way to wear your scarf is the turban scarf styles. This is a gothic bohemian look and can be worn with your boho outfits. How to tie a scarf in turban style? Well just tuck one end straight and then take the rest of the part of scarf around your head in circular zig zags like a punjabi turban and tuck the end part under the back side.
Arabic Scarf Style
I would called it an “arabic” scarf style. This is a great way to wear a scarf with tassels. So now you have 8 scarf styles handy for the Winter fashion. You are officially now a scarf fashionista.

This one is my favorite. This is how I mostly wear a scarf or a shawl. This is how to make a poncho from a shawl. All you need to do is knot your scarf behind you and let the hem of both ends of scarf lay vertically on each of your shoulder. Its and easy way to tie your scarf in a poncho style.
