A cursory glance at my make-shift verandah garden today makes me sad, My greens wilted, my flowers gone & the lone tulsi stands alone with leaves scattered everywhere. Winter brings such gloom to me where I miss the sun and joy. I am totally a summer person, be it the choice of my clothes aka shorts, skirts, bright sunny colors, summer dress or be it may bubbly nature. I just can sit in a corner and keep reading for hours to-gather however tough I may try, I need the fun & the colour & the quirkiness. So Yesterday I thought why not reminisce summer? Best way to do it… Take out my vintage floral skirt for a ride, like literally! And there you go, I have my outfit of the day post with my favorite floral skirt.

Petite is what I would love to call myself whenever I don this floral skirt. I love wrapping it up with a sleek belt around me and I am done for a lovely brunch with friends.

Florals are normally associated with summer days, so when I took this skirt out for a ride, I made sure I styled it in various ways. Most aptly for an evening outing. I threw up a matching blue lace top that was lying around my wardrobe, the blue velvet clutch from my wedding trousseau and my favorite Catwalk strappy sandals!

Jazzing up a little I added a head-gear & my red party shoes to the outfit! A gold envelope clutch was mandatory for my party look!
