Coachella Capsule Wardrobe – Restyling existing outfits to create Coachella festival inspired fashion Looks!
Coachella Festival fever is On! Fashion enthusiasts around the world are looking forward to create, follow and set new Summer fashion trends at the World’s largest fashion and Music festival, Coachella 2019. The Coachella fashion trends 2019 are already doing rounds on major fashion portals and me being me, I couldn’t stop myself from admiring all the cool summer trends of Coachella 2019. Various traditional coachella trends are continued this year like fringes, shorts, distressed denims, bohemian looks, body stickers, metallic stickers, cowboy hats and oxidized jewellery. These have always been the Coachella fashion staple. However some new trends were also seen at Coachella festival fashion 2019.
Fashion Trends always prompted people to buy new stuff. In fact Music festival like this are a way to promote fast fashion for the garment industry. In this scenario, if we want to continue our bit towards sustainable fashion and stick to the revolution that has started with the fashion revolution week 2019, there is only one way out! Refashion! Even High end luxury fashion can be recreated with your existing wardrobe with some creativity and style pointers. A few basic pieces from your capsule wardrobe and your DIY Coachella fashion outfit is ready! It’s that simple. Don’t believe me? Coachella inspired Off-shoulder mini Dress with Boots!
Fashionista Kendell Jenner posed at the Coachella Music festival 2019 in a powder blue off shoulder mini dress from House of Harlow and paired it with lime green Boots from Zarqua. Her dress was cinched at waist with a huge belt. Here is my version of this Coachella inspired fashion look recreated from my existing wardrobe!
Off the shoulder dress have become quite common these days since they are here since quite some time now. A pair of good boots is also a fashion essentials and can be a part of your capsule wardrobe. They are great for winters if you live in colder regions and are great for styling high end luxury fashion looks. In case you do not own Boots. Fret not, you can always create a vision of boots by pulling up knee length black socks with your pointy loafers or Basic Black shoes to create this look. Since the post is getting too long if I break each look in this one, I have decided to a mini post for each of these looks and link them to the headings. Tie-Dye Trend at Coachella 2019
Another major trend I saw this year at Coachella was the Tie-Dye look. Vibrant Tie-Dye t-shirts and Tops were doing rounds at the Coachella Music Festival 2019. It is funny that Tie-Dye trend originated from India and especially Gujarat and has now been a major part of Hippie fashion and Boho looks.
This look is completely clutter free and very easy to recreate. Just pair up a Tie-dye top with plain white skirt, denim shorts or white pants and go sporty chic. Complete your look with a pair of white sneakers and reflective sunglasses and you are ready to rock this Coachella fashion trend! Coachella inspired Body-suit or Swim-suit with outers!
Body-suits have been a huge trend this year and fashionistas have embraced them like anything. Pairing up a body-suit or a swim-suit with denims, shorts and skirts have become a main stream. Coachella fashion trends 2019 was no different! Along with body-suits, Neon outfits have also made a come-back at the Coachella festival 2019!
Actress Joan small here, brought in the Coachella Revolve festival in a neon pink body-suit and white wash mini Denim skirt! I tried to recreate this exact same look using my existing capsule wardrobe. Complete with my Black and Pink puma shoes I have tried to recreate this Coachella fashion outfit inspired look!
Coachella’s hottest fashion trend – Cycle Shorts!
One of the hottest fashion trends of Coachella Music festival 2019 were the Cycle shorts! They were seen literally every where. These cycle shorts came in all sizes and various materials ranging from cotton, corduroy and Denim! Another major Coachella fashion trend was the belt bags or hangings
Olivia Culpo styled her burmuda length cycle shorts with a black crop top and a sports bralette underneath. She completed her look with a belt bag and peep toe black heels and over sized hoops. Coachella inspired Jumpsuit look!
Jumpsuits were literally everywhere at Coachella music festival 2019. Ethnic styled jumpsuits with fringes and boho jewellery was one of the hottest coachella fashion trend 2019.
Jumpsuits are quite trendy and chic and one basic jumpsuit in your capsule wardrobe can help your create in-numerous looks from funky to ehtnic. Here I have styled my Jumpsuit in an Ethnic Style to mimic the coachella Jumpsuit trend.
Another Jumpsuit look that I recreated was this Starry Black Jumpsuit worn by Shanina Shaik for the Revolve festival. Since I did not have a star printed jumpsuit I put on a star printed denim vest and created a funky look. This is how you can create high end fashion looks with your existing wardrobe. Know the trend and try to incorporate it in your look using your capsule wardrobe.
Coachella inspired Rainbow Stripe Dress!
Multicolour rainbow stripes Summer Dresses and Tops were seen making a come back at Coachella fashion 2019. This trend is from the 70’s which saw come back almost a decade ago and now is back with a bang!

Coachella inspired Rainbow Stripe Dress!
Another major come back Coachella fashion trend 2019 was of fringe Tops with Flared bottoms of 70’s along with tinted lenon glasses. Fringe was almost everywhere from fringe Jackets, shrugs to Fringe bags and even fringe top! But one of the looks that caught my fancy was this edgy yet cute look with newspaper boy cap!

Coachella inspired slit Dress!
Coachella fashion has never been complete without a high slit summer dress. This bohemian inspired look has always been a Coachella must have outfit. This year was no different with high slit dress being one of the hottest trends among the Coachella fashion Outfits 2019.
Slit Dress or Button down Dress are totally hot and happening! But not very practical. Here is my version of this look. A button down kurta styled with ethnic Indian jewellery including oxidized neck-pieces and earrings. A cute back pack and pointed shoes or sneakers.
Polka Dots at Coachella festival 2019!
Cute polka dots dress styled in a funky way and you are ready to be Coachella fashion icon of 2019! Its that easy. From Celebrities to fans and fashion enthusiasts, polka dots was one trend that was unanimously welcomed at the Coachella Music festival 2019.
Georgia Fowler here has styled this cute polka dot dress in an Edgy style with those Black Boots. This is an old picture of mine and I thought this goes well with the style.
