The Food met Fashion and Fun at the latest event in the Capitol at Asian Kitchen, New Delhi. Where Designer Swati Mehrotra (Swati Modo) along with Mr. Sanjay Chadha (Asian Kitchen) hosted a “Brunch with the art of Food Making and Shoe Making” where guests explored their culinary skills donning a chef-cap cooking up some delicious dishes.. as well as did some creative Shoe sketching. Excitement was on its peak as the hosts announced that the best sketch to win a bespoke Swati Modo shoe!! So while some of the guests were grilling meet and making water chestnuts…. others were busy creating their dream-shoe on the white canvass…(Some inspirations there Swati ?? 😉 )

When asked the reason behind this one-of-its-kind unique activity Brunch event, Swati happily quipped “The fashion feast was planned to enjoy these fun activities and relax with friends”.

The glam-quotient of this event included Socialites like Artist Neha Chadha, Mania Bhasin Make up expert Meenakshi Sud Dutt, Jewellery designer Pooja Motwani, Mr Kanwal Sahni, Niket & Jainee, Dolly J, Jyoti Sharma, Aamir Zakir and many more.

Now that’s what I call a “Fashion Brunch” Cooking and Sketching happen to be my favorite Past-time as well.. Events that bring together designers, influencers, and celebrities often become incubators for upcoming fashion-forward celebrity trends.
