Back to School or Sporty Chic – What’s your favourite fall 2017 look?
If you have been closely following the blog, by now you know that fall fashion 2017 is all about reviving old looks and turning them into new! One of the major fall trend is going back to school with Over-sized fur sweaters. Looking at the amazing sweaters at Milan fashion show, I could not help but think of my Over-sized fleece kitty sweater that I picked up from Singapore! I have been waiting for rains to stop and weather to change so that I could take this baby out for some fresh chilly air! And I guess the time has come. Pune already has started to have rosy winter mornings and one of these days I tried on this Back to School outfit while I dropped my little angel at her School! (Yep I do such crazy stuff!)
Back to School
Red will be the hottest colour for fall 2017, so I had to take out this red box-pleat skirt that perfectly matches with my sweater. Not to mention Winter and Boots go hand in hand and ankle-strap shoes are yet again trending this year. So I completed the look with my ankle length suede boots.
Autumn Winter 2017
This look is totally apt for a “Back to School” attire. The sweater paired with the shirt and bow-tie gives totally a School girl vibe and the pleated skirt reminds me of my old school uniform. The fact that the skirt is real thick in material and below the knee in length (mid hemlines anyone?) helps it to be a great Fall outfit!

I have tried to create two different looks of this outfit. For the first back to school look I decided to put a high pony tail just like a school girl and skipped the makeup and accessories.

Fleece, fur and feather are going to be ruling the Women’s fashion wardrobe this year. If we go by the fall winter fashion report, white fleece sweaters are here to stay and looking at how cozy it makes me feel, I can totally wear a sweater whole of this winter and even next!

This was one fun shoot for me coz it made me feel younger as if I am actually going back to school. I also got a few compliments at my daughters school and i took them all in my stride, just like a young girl back in school. 😉 Also do observe that I have put the bow-tie on the sweater and not on the shirt!

Sport chic
An another version of this look would be a sport chic! Ofcourse you would love to go back to school with some swag! And a baseball cap is the perfect way to pack up some sportiness to the look.

Two ways to style
Going in for a low pony-tail and a base-ball cap completed my Sporty chic look. I did not have much time to change as the little one was howling by the time I got these shot done. But you could use converse sneakers and a wrist band to give it more of a sporty look.
