Indian Fashion & Beauty Blog- OOTD Bridal Jacket Lehenga Self Designed
Firstly I’d like to apologize to my followers for being MIA for so long! I was loaded with other commitments and could not post at all for such a long time. ( Holidays did take their toll on me! 🙁 ) But finally I am back and I am back with a long awaited post, that was supposed to go online quite a long time ago! Better late than never, here I present my OOTD post of the DIY Jacket Lehenga that I had recently shared with you guys, follow the link if you want to know how I designed it!

OOTD – Jacket Lehenga for Wedding season
Winters are synonymous with weddings and Its only in winters that I can think of elaborate outfits, Summer weddings better be more about anarkalis and cozy fitted clothes. Jacket Lehenga has been the biggest trend last year and I hope it continues to stay this year as well.

OOTD – Bridal trends Jacket lehenga

Self designed Bridal Lehenga!
Here is what I wore, the jacket lehenga in Gold Pink & white with a broad gota border & a pearl border. The jacket is adorned with pink diamond buttons that match the bottom skirt.

OOTD- DIY Traditional Indian Lehenga

Jacket Lehenga!
The Jacket is brocade gold with a silver touch to it that stretches down till the bottom of the outfit finishing just above the border of the lehenga. The front part of the jacket being an oval cut-out gives it a trail like look. It is a bandhagala and I love it for the fact that It looks chic as well as it does not necessarily require a duppata with this kind of contemporary modern look.

Jacket Lehenga – Winter Wedding outfit of the day!
The fact that I do not require to accessorize heavily also helps. I just have to concentrate on just one or two statement pieces to go with this outfit. My peacock studded pink & gold diamond earrings goes best with this one, especially since it also coordinated with the diamond buttons on the jacket.

Statement Peacock earrings & Gold Chain Bracelet.
Adding up the oomph factor is the lovely gold chain bracelet that I got from AllaboutEve. I really love the uniqueness of it and it reminds me of an era of finger bracelets used by my Mom’s and Aunt’s in their time.

Bridal Jacket Lehenga- Wedding Accessories
Since this was supposed to be a Bridal or Wedding season post, I tried putting on all the more traditional accessory, The Maang-tikka. I doubt it looks good on me, but I wanted to try it nevertheless.

DIY Jacket Lehenga – Outfit of the day!
The pink Maang Tika was from my bridal trousseau, precisely a gift, which never made it to the light of the day as I am not that a fan of such traditional jewelry, I thought it best to showcase it here with my bridal Jacket Lehenga.
