DIY Crop-top Lehenga – Indo-western festive outfit for Diwali 2017
So I am back to back with an another Indo-western look for Diwali festive fashion 2017. In case you missed my earlier look for Diwali Brunch party (click the link) you should totally go check it out! While the earlier one was for a Day party, this one is more of an evening look. This look is specifically for a Diwali Card Party or a pre-Diwali night party or a Dhanteras party. Since I believe in restyling your existing outfits and not buying new ones for Diwali. I have again paired two very different pieces of my existing wardrobe to create a festive yet elegant look for your Diwali Card party.
Crop top & Skirt – Festive ootd
Here I have paired one of my crop tops with a gold ghagra skirt. This ghagra is actually a part of one of my Anarkali lehenga dress acting as a sheer inner below the lace anarkali dress. Here I have used the same ghagra as a Skirt and paired it up with one of my royal blue crop top. This outfit is simple yet elegant and totally comfortable, thus a perfect choice for a cozy Diwali card party.

I have accessorized this outfit with some classic kundan jewellery. A long statement neck-piece and kundan earrings. Keeping the look simple, I have tied my hair in pony tail. Smokey gold brown eyes, hot pink lips and gold stiletto pumps complete my festive card party look.

If you want to add some ethnic glamour to the look, you can pair it up with a contrasting dupatta to make it a crop top lehenga. Here I have used a pink and gold banarasi silk dupatta to complete the look. The DIY Crop Top lehenga is ready for me for the Diwali card party!

One thing to keep in mind while you are mixing up your wardrobe is to keep the tone of the outfit. For example here the gold is the undertone and hence I have used a solid colour crop top and accessorized with gold jewelry so as to compliment the gold ghagra and dupatta that has a gold finish. This way even if all the three parts of lehenga are of different colours they still look contrast co-ordinated.
