Capsule Wardrobe Essentials – Denim Skirt for work
Formals fashion has seen a tremendous shift in past few years. No more are the days where your Capsule Work Wardrobe consists of only blouses, pencil skirts and trousers. Work fashion for women has evolved in the past few years giving rise to a new term called Casual Office wear or Casual Formals! These are pretty much a fusion of Casual outfits with your basic formals to create new edgy looks that can be stylish, refreshing and yet classy enough to carry at work. The Casual Workwear wardrobe is the new IT thing for Working women across the globe and back home in India. Owing to my #nobuyingnew challenge and my pledge towards sustainable fashion that has sparked across the fashion industry with the fashion revolution week, I aim towards Environment friendly and pocket friendly fashion. This includes lot of restlying, outfit repeat and minimalist fashion that surrounds a Capsule wardrobe. One of my Summer Capsule wardrobe essentials would be a Denim skirt. This Denim skirt is a timeless garment that can be paired with numerous other garments to give different looks. Today I will be doing three Casual Work wear looks using the same Denim skirt and some wardrobe basics.
Casual Office wear – Denim Skirt & Red Blazer
Who doesn’t like a pop of Red in their outfit to prep up their work day? And if its a Red Blazer that you have, there is nothing like it.
Styling my Red Blazer with Denim skirt and a white T-shirt inside. I completed my look with black pumps and a sock bun hairstyle. This gives a formal vibe to a casual look of Denim skirt and a T-shirt. This not only is super comfortable and chic but a great Casual Work wear option.
A Coloured Blazer in your capsule wardrobe can be a great way to prep up your casual work wear. You can also wear a Shrug or Trench coat or a Long Cape instead of the coloured Blazer and Belt it up to give a cinched waist look. This can be a chic way to rock your casual formals at work. A monochrome look can be a great way to rock Casual Formals. This puff sleeve shrug is a thrift buy and almost 8 years old. But the way it makes up for a cool office wear is amazing.

Giving it a nerdy spin, I have completed my look with nerdy Lennon glasses and strappy sandals and I am ready to rock the Casual Office wear.
