Two of the Hottest Trend of year – Off-shoulder top & Backpack
The dawn of 2016 saw some major throwback trends being translated directly from runway to streets and then to every fashionistas closets. One such trend is the Off-the-Shoulder or Cold Shoulder trend as a part of the Boho flower girl vibe, add to that a compact backpack and you are ready to rock two of the most coveted trends of the year! This particular outfit post was shot long back as a part of my post pregnancy style but somehow it never made up to the blog till now. To my surprise these two are by far the most popular trends even now, not only among the college goers but even working women and art lovers, which is why publishing the post became even more important.
Without much a do, I paired up this beautiful floral boho off-shoulder top with my dark blue shaded denims & a pink back pack for a semi-casual work look. I completed the look with denim converse and gold rimmed lennon glasses.
I really love this floral boho top by Stalkbuylove, which is so versatile it can be easily paired with a flare skirt or denims or even a beach sarong styling into various looks. However I played it safe, pairing with a denim jeans to carry out a casual semi-formal look that can be easily worn to work. The cold shoulder trend has a strange sassiness in itself, despite being covered from top to toe, it still has a sexy vibe to it. Its great for those who do not want to show of more skin yet feel more sexy yet confident. Maybe that’s the reason why this trend has taken vogue amongst women of all ages together.
By the looks of it, I won’t be surprised if the cold shoulder or droop shoulders sees itself through the fall and back in summer next year. Throw in some layering with shrugs, one-sided ponchos and scarves with a off-shoulder Bohemian dress, pair it with leather jeggings & Boots and you are ready to rock fall’s hottest trend in a jiffy. Or wear it to work with a suit jacket & an off-shoulder blouse.
Be it Indian or Western outfit, off-shoulder trend can be carried off easily with panache. Recently Bollywood Queen Bebo showed us how cold-shoulder dresses can be the cutest maternity outfits ever. She has donned both Indian and western outfits in this trend and rocked both the looks so well. Taking a cue from her, off-shoulders can be a great maternity wear as well.. Just see how versatile they are!
Colourful cutesy backpacks is yet another hot statement accessory that’s totally in vogue these days. Comfort factor is the key for this trend. Women have moved out from the tiny clutches that can hardly fit anything to comfortable & trendy back-packs that are easy to carry and fits all your stuff in it. I literally carry this pink bag-pack, yet again from Stalkbuylove, everywhere I go. For those who wanna know, I pack all my little one’s stuff right from water bottle to napkins to nappies neatly stacked in it. Didn’t I tell you this one makes a great post maternity outfit 🙂 Well, it was for a reason!
