Ash may be a Global celebrity and a bahu to Bollywood’s renown family, but what makes her stand apart is her being totally rooted to ground despite all the fame and Glamour all around her. Yes I am talking about the recently circulating pictures of Aishwarya Rai with her cutie Aaradya, when in both the mother daughter duo are seen spending some quality time together.

While the internet is going gaga over Ash’s attire and her plastic surgeries, her loosing weight and gaining weight and recently about how she is a doting mother to her daughter Aardhya while she is carrying her 4 years old all the time and takes her wherever she goes. Well to clarify the above gesture, Aishwarya has already passed the statement that she is doing that just to make her daughter feel safe, but that story some other time!

Today, I would like to talk about how she has put herself out there as a Celebrity who is also a Mother. Choosing not to let go of her one role in order to play the other, She has become a perfect example of a Woman! Period! No she is not a supermom (as media has tagged her!), she is neither an Ideal Bahu or a family lady. She is a professional who does not want to compromise her role as mother for her success in the industry and that’s what stands her apart! She chooses to shield her daughter from cameras and is clearly not bagging limelight on her credit. All she is doing is, She is being who she is at home and elsewhere. She is sticking to her identity. Being a mom does not change who you are but I do not know why suddenly the world starts seeing you differently. Why does she have to let go of one role for another? And why would media suddenly tag her as a doting mother or protective parent or bla bla if she is doing what she is supposed to do as a mother? Why can not a woman be successful and yet live her family and relationship at her fullest both at the same time? We do not tag men as being homely or family person when they choose to travel with their kids or go bowling with their teenagers. It is like taking away from her what she is doing and focusing on her domestic life rather. And who doesn’t have it!
I would say she is not just a doting mother but much more than that. I respect her for the work she does and the way she tries to strike out a balance in life. I am sure we all are sailing in the same boat, arent we?
Whether attending events or spending time with family, Aishwarya Rai remains a source of celebrity style inspiration.
