Indian beauty blog – Plum Goodness ‘Hello Aloe’ daily moisturizer and Cleansing lotion review.
Bidding farewell to the winters calls for a change in your daily beauty regime which essentially starts with our daily moisturizer and cleanser. Our skin needs utmost care in Summers as with the scorching heat and rising mercury it is going to leave it all dry and cracked where dust and pollution can be easily clogged. It’s time I moved on from my moisturizing soap & cocoa butter lotion to a more mild moisturizer and a daily cleanser. The Plum goodness “Hello Aloe” range came in the nip of time with its light aloe-vera based moisturizer and aloe based cleansing lotion to pump up my skin for the Summers coming ahead. Here is my review on both the products from their ‘Hello Aloe’ range.
Plum Hello Aloe caring day Moisturizer
Aloevera has always been my favorite when it comes to moisturizing. As my skin is a combination skin, I need a moisturizer that is non greasy and non sticky. Thus I was very much looking forward for the moisturizer from Plum Goodness.

This particular Aloe moisturizer boasts of Paraben-free, SLS-free, phthalate-free formulation of pure organic aloe juice and ylang ylang essential oils that is chemical free and without any synthetic colours.
My Experience with Plum Hello Aloe caring day Moisturizer
The moisturizer is really nourishing and leaves my skin soft and supple for a long time. There is no evident strong fragrance just a nourishing effect. I can apply generous amounts of moisturizer and it does not feel greasy or coated at all. Miraculously my skin absorbs every bit of it. My only grudge with this product was the quantity is too less. I finished the whole tube in less than 20 days.
Pros:
1. Chemical free nourishing moisturizer that leaves skin soft and supple
2. No strong smells
3. No greasy effect
4. Stays long and ideal for daily wear
5. Works with combination skin
Cons:
1. Way expensive compared to it counterpart moisturizers commercially available.
2. Quantity is quite less for the value.
Would I buy this moisturizer again? Maybe yes, just for the sake of the effect it leaves on my skin. But yes, it would be difficult for a day to day use considering its price.
Plum Hello Aloe gentle cleansing lotion
I have been looking for a cleansing lotion since quite a long time now. I have been using Ayur and lotus on and off now and not much happy with the outcome. Thus when I found this cleansing lotion I felt maybe my search as come to an end. Has it actually? Check out my review below.

This particular cleansing lotion boasts of Paraben-free, SLS-free, phthalate-free formulation of Aloe juice and mild cleansing complex made of natural oils that cleanses your skin from deep within.
My Experience with Plum Hello Aloe gentle cleansing lotion
The cleansing lotion is very much like any other cleansing lotion but with nourishing properties. It does leave my skin fresh. However I do find a little irritation while I use the wipes on my eyes to remove my eye-makeup, thus I aint sure if it can work as a make-up remover cum cleanser. But it does leave my face clean and grime-free. It is little more sticky than expected and I need to wash my face with either water or wipe the excess off with rosewater dipped cotton before I proceed to moisturizing. Surprisingly the quantity is great and my bottle is still half full.
Pros:
1. Chemical free cleansing milk that leaves your skin clean.
2. No strong smells
3. Works with combination skin
4. Not much expensive
5. Great quantity for the value.
Cons:
1. Feels a little sticky
2. Irritated my eyes while I used on eye-lids, cannot be substituted for make-up remover.
Would I buy this moisturizer again? Considering that I need a make-up remover, I might just give a pass to the cleansing lotion if I get something that works both ( I am lazy that way) however, considering the price it might not hurt me to buy it again just for the cleansing purpose.
