Payal Singhal’s Collection: Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012
Fashionmate got Lucky enough to win passes to the 3rd Show of Nandita Thirani and Payal Singhal’s Show at 3 pm, on the first day of Lakme Fashion Week 2012(3rd August 2012), Thanks to LakmeSalon. The Show was Fabulous with an ethnic theme and vibrant colours.

Payal’s collection was named “India in Colour”. The collection was based on various ethnic and folk cultures of India, from Rajashtani Colours to Kutchi Mirror-work and Vibrant bright colours of North. The Outfits varied from kurtas, kaftans, tunics, dresses, short ghagras and kalidar saris with Zardoshi, sequins and Mirror-work. The Kutchi Mirror work and Katputli Colours were seen dangling here and there with Models wearing sexy maang-tika bringing an ethnic look to the whole collection.

Model and Actress Shibani Dandekar (Sister of Anusha Dandekar) was the Showstopper of the show wearing a mirror-worked silver-gold asymmetric lehenga with sexy choli.

Payal Singhal used rich fabrics to create glamour and vibrant colours were sprinkled over them to offer Indian ethnic folk theme to the whole collection. Sheer fabrics in Bright colours were the best part of Payal’s Collection.
