This years major fashion trends for spring summer 2012 are peplum dress. For those who are naive to this trend, peplum is a ruffle or a short over-skirt attached to the waist-line, basically a frill hanging over your hips mostly used in pencil shaped skirts and mid-length dresses. This trend heads back to the 1980-90’s era where peplum skirts and dresses were a part of formal fashion wear. Fashion 2012 however has brought back the Peplum (pep-lum) trend on the runway and to the red-carpet. Major fashion shows at the begining of this year showcased various forms of peplums in thier collection..Lets have a look at the runway trends of Peplum!!
