Cotton Saree Dairies – Wear your Kurta with saree as Knotted Blouse
Cotton Saree is the most versatile outfit I could ever have and since I am into restyling and reusing old outfits, I am having a gala time reusing my old cotton saree in so many different ways to give a complete new look. Today I am trying the Kurta Saree or Saree with Kurta where you style one of your plain kurta with your saree instead of the conventional Blouse.
Whenever I saw my fellow blogger friends carrying a kurta with saree I would always wonder if I could pull it off but when I wore this one, I knew this was the fun part about Sarees. You can style it any which way possible and still it looks adorable! So I am back with my Grandma’s cotton saree in burgundy and beige. I have used one of my plain burgundy kurta here (that came with the bell sleeve jacket I used in earlier post 😉 )
All I have done here is knotted up the kurta at one end to convert it into a knotted crop top and wrapped the saree with front pallu and I am done. This DIY Kurta Saree looks pretty cool for a fun event or an informal party.
Going with the Informal Party look, I decided to go for a shimmer makeup and used a kundan necklace for accessorizing. Styling my hair in a messy bun, I completed my look.
