Winter in India is all about festivities and festive outfits! First its Navratri, then Diwali and then wedding season. All of these call for designer lehengas and traditional ethnic outfits. Especially if you are a bride-to-be or newly wed or have a close family member’s wedding to attend, in short if you are an Indian female, you need to be ready with the latest designs of lehengas to flaunt in the next wedding you attend. While I am all about DIY and restyling old lehengas (you should totally check out my Diwali posts for some restyling inspirations) I do love to check out the current trend in fashion and especially Indian designers collection, they are a great way infact to take inspiration for my DIY outfits and self-designed outfits. Which is why I have been closely watching various designers collection showcased at the India Couture Week and I must tell you I literally fell in love with some of their outfits. So I decided to compile the hottest lehenga trends from the India Couture week that the brides and bride-to-be’s can incorporate into their shopping list and probably pick up some of the trending lehenga designs from the couture week 2017. So here are the 13 hottest bridal lehenga designs that will rule the fashion world this winter.

They say Jacket lehengas are passé, well our designers don’t think so! This years cape style floor length embroidered and embellished jackets have taken place of the earlier ankle length jackets. These jackets are of more softer material and easily glide over your lehengas giving them a fairy tale look. Another major twist is that these jackets do not subsitute the choli, but rather make up for a great additional layering which is very apt for winter.
