Hottest Fashion Trends at Coachella 2017
Touted as One of the Biggest Music festival of the year, Coachella 2017 is also the best place to see innovative styling and hottest trends along with lots of celebrity, glitz and glamour. I have been following this fest almost every year just to see the awesome creativity and jaw-dropping looks of certain festival goes, Not that it doesn’t have its share of faux passe (RIRI’s sequin bodysuit for example!)
Let me confess I am an ardent fan of Rihanna and her edgy style but this outfit just didn’t make the cut for me. Now that we have already seen the worst lets get to some impressive Fashion trends Coachella gave us this year.
The Fish-net Trend
One of the most catchy trends from Coachella 2017 would be the fish-net stockings and Sydney Shannon tells us how to get it right! I love the barely there feel of it and everything else about the look spells just Wow! (Take a cue darling)
Kelly Gale incorporated the fishnet with some bling and starry shoes!
Sheer & Metalics
Running in close competition to the Mesh trend is the Sheer and Metalics. Huge Metalic appliques and shimmery Sheer could be seen incorporated in many fancy outfits at Coachella festival.
The Hats & Capes
Hats have always have been a fashion staple at Coachella considering the festival comes in Summer and essentially brings out the hottest summer trends of the year. So have been fancy Capes. This year was no different with music-goers flaunting some fab hats from cowboys to fisher-women hats pairing them with artistic capes.
Check out the Persian print cape, Cow-boy hat and those fringe Boots Vanessa is sporting. Do I need say anymore?
Even a simple Cape paired with a CropTop & Shorts is fab for a sexy summer look and Coachella has nailed it for us!
Boho Maxis
Flowy Bohemian Maxis go hand in hand with Coachella festival. This year we saw some stunning Maxi looks right from floral to pastels and autumn shades! Cinch these sheer maxis with a Broad belt and pair them with your favorite sneakers to get this look right!
The off-shoulder trend takes another high with this floral printed Maxi giving it a certain old world charm.
Tribal Fashion
Tribal Jewelry which is supposed to be one ancient trend of East that has suddenly become popular in the west and at the looks at it, very soon we will all be fishing out from our Grandma’s trunk to assemble a stunning Tribal look. German Silver Necklaces, Tribal Jewelry, Pompoms and Hand-embroidered Bags were some of the hottest trends at Coachella 2017.
Bandanas & Quirky Caps
Apart from the routine fashion looks, Coachella is also the platform for creating innovative fashion trends & breaking fashion rules. One of the looks that caught my eyes was the minimalist approach with statement fashion pieces like a “Bandana & Pleat Skirt” or “A newspaper boy cap & off-shoulder crop top” “A police Hat”! Simple yet stunning and oh so refreshing!
