How to take care of your dry Frizzy hair during Winters with Herbal products
Winters to me means not only dry & flaky skin but it also means dry, frizzy hair and lot’s of dandruff! I am sure many of you reading this might be facing the same problem during Winters, and if you stay in one of the geographically extreme climate environments, these are more grave ranging from hair-fall to itchy sore scalp. I have got a really sensitive skin and I usually avoid chemicals. To top it all, I got my hair smoothed few months back and I was using Matrix Shampoo, Conditioner & Mask since then. There was a lot of hair fall that I was facing because of that and when TheKhadiShop people contacted me to try their herbal products, It came as a relief. I was really looking forward to start a herbal beauty regime and thus I ordered these things for my Winter Beauty Regime from them.

TheKhadishop Reetha Honey Shampoo, Aloe Vera and Jojoba Hair Conditioner & Herbal Hair Oil with Amla & Brahmi. All these ayurvedic products Alwa (Gooseberry), Brahmi, Areetha, Honey, Aleo Vera, Jojoba, etc are really great for healthy hair. I remember of my growing up days when my Grandma used to give me areetha and shikakai mixture to wash my hair.Eventually the practice got lost in lack of time and I started depending more and more upon chemical products to get the instant glow in hair. Skin is the next most important thing to care for during winters, it tends to get chappy and dry, thus for my skin I ordered their Moisturizing Cream with Aleo Vera and Kesar.
My Experience with Herbal Shampoo Reetha & Honey
Reetha & Honey Shampoo was the first product that I laid my hands on. Until now I was using cream based shampoo of Dove & Matrix which are smooth to apply and leave a live-in moisture in hair after a single wash. Well Herbal Shampoo is quite different from them. The Shampoo is no doubt very gentle, it forms very less lather. I really had to squeeze large quantities for one wash. I was care-free about using more product as I knew these were herbal products and less harmful than chemical ones. The shampoo smells of honey.

Quanity: 110 ml

Packaging: Good to go, not too fashionable but comfortable enough.
The Shampoo is quite dry in the sense it will not leave your hair sticky but it leaves your scalp really clean and smooth. I also noticed one thing that I could really spot separate single strands of hair after I dried my hair, which was not possible with the moisturized shampoos. This creates volume in hair. The hair are not soft as you may expect them to be, but they are smooth and with regular use, shiny.

Cons: My only problem with the shampoo was, that It did not lather much and also it did leave my hair rather dry. I had to use a conditioner (herbal of course!) after I shampooed my hair.
My Experience with Herbal Conditioner Aloe Vera & Jojoba
The conditioner is almost same as the shampoo. You need to use oodles of conditioner in the wet hair to get the feel of having used some product on your hair. The lather is very less, which is in a way good. Creaminess is far less compared to other regular use conditioners. Fragrance is okey, not like that of Iraya products, where my whole rooms starts smelling once I open the bottle.

Contents: Aloe Vera, Honey, Cream Base, Jojoba Oil, Preservatives, Distilled Water

The conditioner is not dry and its creamy, however it requires a hand-full quantity to be applied to give good results. It leaves hair supple and moisturized. Even after applying conditioner I could see my hair fall in single separate strands and not sticking together in bunch.

Cons: Just like the shampoo, the conditioner also did not lather much and required dollops of it to really get the work done. Which brings me to the other point that in that case I feel the quantity of product is less compared to that expected in this price.
My Experience with Herbal Amla & Brahmi Hair Oil
The hair Oil was supposed to be used first, but I always massage my clean scalp with hair oil. Thus I used the shampoo and conditioner and then came to hair oil. Hair oil is almost similar to the trichup hair oil I am currently using, it is not too sticky, not too smelly and penetrates easily in the scalp. Actually that is the only product I liked the most.

Contents: Til Oil (Sesame Oil), Brahmi (Indian Pennywort), Neem Patra (Margosa),Gudhal (Hibiscus), Bhringraj (False Daisy), Amla (Gooseberry), Apricot Oil

Here is my before and after wash look. It is difficult to identify the difference as after wash, I had to rush to a social gathering and I got ready with my make-up on. Still you can spot the smoothness and shine in the hair.

My Experience with Herbal Moisturizer with Aleo & Kesar
Along with my Hair-care regime, I got the Aleo Vera & Kesar Moisturizer for keep sakes for the Winter. It served the purpose of keeping my skin chap free and moisturized. The Moisturizer containing Aleo Vera and Kesar is a light moisturizing cream which leaves the skin nourished. It smells a little of kesar and is not much creamy. Ideal for combination skin like mine. The quantity is perfect and packaging good to go.
