Sonam Kapoor has been giving us the top trends of the year during her promotions of upcoming flick with Fawad Khan “Khoobsurat”. From Jumpsuits to Casuals, Trendy to Preppy, Subtle to loud! She has done it all! She is flaunting the top trends of year 2014 these days and I couldn’t resist myself from doing a fashion round-up of her Style for Khoobsurat.
So here we have the Top Trends of 2014 Sonam Kapoor Style!
Trend 1 : Crop Top
From fish-net to bikini, full sleeved to sleevless and lace crop tops. Sonam has tried them all. She has done to death with Crop’s for Khoobsurat promotions and I am not at all complaining. The Crops look great on her due to her petite figure and enhance her body structure as well as her love handles! Crop top is one major trend that has passed on from previous year to 2014 and at the looks of it. It shall continue to be in Trend this year as well.
Trend 2 : Full length Maxi
Jumpsuit’s and full lenght Maxi are Hot this season! They were here for the summers and have stayed back for the autumn. Bright bold printed Maxi gives you an illusion of enhanced height and are super comfy. Maxi’s are the front-runners in the fashion trends of 2014 and are unbeatable. Sonam has been flaunting bright vibrant maxi’s for Khoobsurat promotions and she totally nails it!
Trend 3 : Tribal & Aztec Prints
Aztec prints were a huge trend last season and they have stayed back this year as well. Aztec has enhanced its style zone to bring in more vibrancy and colour in form of Tribal prints. If you have been reading my updates on Lakme fashion Week 2014, you must have guessed by now that Tribal prints/ Tropical Prints are Hot trends of 2014. Sonam has channelized both Aztec prints and Tribal prints in many of her Khoobsurat appearances. She does carry them off well.
Trend 4 : Ethnic & Traditional Handicrafts
Mirror works, handi-crafts, tie-dye bandhej, silk, linen, khadi, natural colours – This year’s lfw winter festive collection was high on ethnics. So it was expected Sonam would go trendy in ethnics for her Khoobsurat promotions. But so many ethnic outfits, this was a surprise. Sonam flaunted handi-crafts and ethnics left right and centre. The bandhani tie-dye style was the attraction of her style file.
Trend 5 : Blazers & Jackets
Be it a saree, dress or Skrit, layering your outfit with Quirky Blazer is one thing trend that will look through whole of winter 2014. Sonam channelizes quirky Blazers and Jackets all through all her appearances and I am sure this trend is a huge hit amongst women who want to brighten up their outfits with elegance.
