My first ever Online Shopping (read clothes) experience and fashion haul at Jabong!!
Shopaholic is my alter-Ego and those of you who know me already swear by this!! Shopping has been a stress buster for me. I can shop till I drop and literally so… For the record, I have spent at-stretch 8 hours shopping in Colaba Causeway alone, without food, without water (cause I totally forgot about eating or drinking :P) That’s Me! So when this fellow friend suggested me about online shopping I was totally excited!! I have been doing online shopping since a long time now, but most stuff that I buy online are either electronic items, books or gift articles. Max to max that I have ventured in fashion department has to be belts and ear-cuff’s. Apart from these I have never actually shopped for myself online especially the clothes and I am usually very skeptical about the size and fitting and steer clear from shopping online!
So when I came across this online shopping portal Jabong.com suggested by a co-blogger, I had not imagined to be spoiled with so many options!! For those of you who do not know, Jabong is a huge creative company offering good quality branded goods for Men Women and Kids. Their products range from apparel, jewelry, footwear, accessories, cosmetics, perfumes to home decor, sports goods & other beauty products.
Their ethnic collection encompasses famous brands such as BIBA, W, GlobalDesi, Globus and a new collection of Ace designer Rohit Bal. And added advantage, It has major discounts going on right now!! I just got some 🙂
Fashionmate Shopping Experience & Haul
The online shopping portal of Jabong is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The best part about it is the variety of categories you can select to narrow down your choice of products. Apart from the choice of apparels, there are categories for brands, sizes, colours, prices and discounts which makes your shopping hassle-free. Just for example, I have been looking for Maybeline Newyork’s Nail Enamel – The Colourshow Glitter-Mania for quite some time now and this shopping experience provided me the opportunity to get one. All I had to do is to get into the Beauty Products category, Click for Nail Enamel and select the Maybeline brand under the brands mentioned. There! I had it just in front of me all the shades available. It was that easy.
Coming back to what all I ordered for myself from the portal. Well, as I already told you I got myself two Maybeline Color-show Nail Enamel Glitter-mania, colors pink and gold and an ethnic fun print Kurti from Biba! ( Psst. Outfit post coming soon!) I ordered my stuff on 7th August while I was vacationing at my Mom’s, I got my parcel delivered on 11th of August, the same day I came back! Yaay! The packing was good and I totally liked how they had a separate bubble-gum packing for my nail enamel.
The other thing that I got for myself was an auto-rickshaw print BIBA kurti in Pop Pink. The material and texture is totally great and good quality. The pictures do not dupe here! and I am happy about it.
The packing is not that great as I was expecting a box packing for the apparel. But the plastic one is quite neat and I aint complaining. The best thing about my shopping experience was that the Product tracking by Jabong India was awesome!! I got a mail as soon as I placed my order, another mail when the product was shipped, another mail when the product reached my city along with an sms telling me the name of the delivery person and mobile number. I also got mail after the delivery was done and that is totally awesome. I did not have to go and log on to product tracking ( which was working as well)

Here is my shopping haul. Maybeline color show nail enamel in gold and pink glitter mania colors and an awesome pink Biba Kurti… Trying them on soon and posting for my Outfit of the Day!! Yaay!
