Shruti Sancheti’s presented her collection named ‘Saaj’ which was a fusion of various Maharashtrian style’s of wardrobe. The designer who has  worked for more than a year for Maharashtra State Handlooms Corporation now, presented her collection as a nod to the rich ethnic weave of Maharashtra. Weaves such as Shahpuri Rasta, Narli, Riuphool,Jyot,  Karvatkati etc were used in abundance along with lots of aari work and resham. Materials such as pure spun silk, woven silk, blends of cotton and Nagpuri checks in bright and vibrant colours such as red, green, gold, crimson, indigo blue and purple were used for her collection.

The desinger’s used various forms of Marathi outfit’s like Nav-vari Saree, Achkan’s, Dhoti pants, Angrakha’s blended with slim fit trousers jackets with front split and silk jackets.

The models used ethnic Maharashtrian crescent shaped bindi and nathni with middle parting and tight bun.

Anarkali with the statement peacock latkan

A statement creative version of Peacock was used as Latkan and brooch at various places in the collection. The peacock being the national bird of India was prominent in the ethnic collection inspiring rich cultural heritage of the country.
