This year the 66th International Cannes film festival’s red-carpet saw Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in her best avtar, after her post-pregnancy-weight-gain issues and earlier fashion-faux-pass of her previous year at Cannes.

Ash has definitely got slimmer this time around and what is more refreshing is that we could finally see some better fashion sighting’s than her previous fashion rendezvous at Cannes (a year earlier,specifically).
Ash in Elie Saab
First off, it was a Black and Grey Elie Saab gown for Aishwarya while she walked the red carpet on her first day at Cannes. The dress was custom-made for ash with additional lace applique on the sleeves which went with that on the top. I completely liked her choice of designer and the gown, also the fact that she tried to look broader on top by adding that lace applique sleeves (apart from their advantage of hiding her heavy arms). Ash wore a subtle make-up with Nude lipstick highlighting her beautiful eyes, I like! But one thing that kept nagging me was the free-flowing voluptuous hair. They looked good,
