Lately I came across a beautiful white georgette saree of my mom, which I always loved but could never gather up the courage to wear it. The saree has these beautiful pink hand-work judas all over it, but the pattern seems old fashion 🙁 So everytime I thought I will drape it, I just couldnt find it proper enough to go out with it….No doubt the saree is adorable but a complete no-no for any function…..
So I worked it up with some nice matching lace , restyled it and came up with beautiful and gorgeous overlap Dress too adorable and lovely to wear.. I am sure my mom will like the transformation,,,
The overlap pattern is going well with the texture of the dress and the lace used all over the overlap gives it a gorgeous look.
The duppata also is made from the saree material and lace work itself, In short a complete makeover of a saree into a beautiful Salwar Kameez while saving the cost as well as Environment. Restyling is fun and I am loving it…:)
